Capacity-building workshop for peace and climate justice activists in Beni.
From 13 to 14 February 2026, the city of Beni in the Democratic Republic of Congo hosted a capacity-building workshop bringing together 25 young activists committed to peace and climate justice . The initiative aimed to equip participants with practical skills to better mobilise their communities and take concrete action in the face of environmental and security challenges. Organised in a context where the effects of climate change and social tensions are weakening local communities, the workshop provided a space for learning, exchange and solidarity among young leaders.
